A big chemical that

October10

Tomorrow after work my parents will pick me up and we’ll head straight to the village where I spent my childhood summers to visit my grandma. Every time we go, we bring a couple of things which are hard to come by in that region, and which she loves. Olives are always on the list.

Recently a very nice Greek shop with some really good olives opened up in our neighborhood. Tonight I’ll come home late, so as we were driving past it, I asked Vesko to get some for me.

The following conversation ensued:

V: Remind me on the way back from work to get a big can of olives.

Siri: Which work address do you want me to use?

V: Come ON, she KNOWS my address. Remind me on the way back from work to get a big can of olives.

Siri: I don’t understand what you said.

V: Remind me today, AT SIX PM, to get a big can of olives.

M: Giggles.

Siri: Here’s your reminder for today, eighteen hundred hours: “A big chemical that”. Should I set it?

V: NO.

M: Lols

V: Remind. Me. Today. At 6 PM. To get a big can of O-L-I-V-E-S.

Siri: Here’s your reminder for today at 6 PM: “A big can up I’ll”. Should I set it?

M: Laughs and kicks a little.

V: Yes.
